The Foundation offers a fun and creative program for families to extend their visit to the two exhibitions during each school holiday, along with introductory workshops throughout the year.
Emma Bruschi – Harvest Bouquets
Open to all ages 8 and up.
In this workshop, participants will learn to create a harvest bouquet using rye and wheat straw, and will be introduced to hand braiding and spinning. Symbolizing fertility, devotion, love, and luck, harvest bouquets can be hung at home or given to someone dear to you.
Zoé Arnaud – Species of Sounds!
Open to all ages 10 and up.
Wednesday, July 9, from 2 PM to 5 PM
Designer Zoé Arnaud invites you to listen differently and pay attention to the species around you. At the Foundation, participants will discover how to sharpen their perception of sounds and transcribe bird songs through drawing. Then, they will go on a walk to practice attentive listening, observe their sound environment, and note the sounds they perceive. An immersive experience to discover local biodiversity.
La Main Bleue – Introduction to Sashiko Embroidery
Open to all ages 12 and up.
Wednesday, October 22, from 2 PM to 5 PM
Make a coin purse using fabric scraps, in the boro style (a Japanese textile technique that uses worn and recycled fabrics to create unique and functional clothing): with fabric scraps and Sashiko embroidery, create a lovely hand-made coin purse to take everywhere.
The Philosophical Spiders – Playing with Thought
Open to all ages 8 and up.
Wednesday, October 29, from 2 PM to 3:30 PM
During this workshop, “The Philosophical Spiders” will resonate and reason with the intentions of the artists and designers featured in Memo. Souvenirs du futur. The workshop will alternate between sound listening, readings, sharing thoughts, and creations.
Studio Idaë – Chimeras of Charente
Open to all ages 10 and up.
Wednesday, November 12, from 2 PM to 5 PM
Designer Isabelle Daëron invites participants to create a volvelle (a rotating chart used in astronomy, navigation, and medicine) to form chimeras from the fish and plants that coexist in the Charente River.

Alexis Foiny and Margaux Le Paih Guérin – Souvenir of a Reminiscence
Open to all ages 10 and up.
Wednesday, December 18, from 2 PM to 5 PM
Through this speculative design workshop, imagine the story of a fictional or extinct plant species based on its scent, habitat, or history, inspired by designer Alexis Foiny’s project with the Astiria Rosea. Participants are invited to associate memories or tell a story about a flower.

Children must be accompanied by an adult.
