This creative workshop, which combines embroidery, braiding, and needlework, invites participants to explore new combinations of natural and synthetic materials, inspired by the work of artist Silvana Mc Nulty. Using organic elements and everyday objects, participants will bring to life new, fantastical hybrid pieces.

Using plain and colored recycled paper, artist Anja Madsen Pernot invites participants to create floral chimeras: extraordinary paper flowers that are both poetic and imaginative, echoing Agnieszka Polaska’s film featured in the exhibition “The Monkey and the Clay”.

Ages 10 and up

As part of the “Médecine Castor” regional project led by the FRAC Poitou-Charentes, the Foundation is partnering with artist Suzanne Husky to produce a new monumental work. During the first part of her residency, embroiderer and storyteller Inès Cassigneul will lead a group workshop on embroidery on felt, designed as a space for sharing knowledge and reflection, where each stitch weaves delicate connections between human and non-human worlds.

Created by designer Antoine Behaghel as a complement to the Planctonarium, this workshop offers an immersion into the invisible world of phytoplankton. Participants are invited to explore the shapes and colors of these marine microorganisms, drawing inspiration from the optical effects observed under a microscope: changes in scale, image reflections, and plays of light with fluorescent accents.
