BLUNK PITCHER

To mark the JB Blunk, Continuum exhibition in 2024, the Martell Corporate Foundation and the JB Blunk Estate have partnered with WE DO NOT WORK ALONE, a publisher of functional objects designed by artists, to create an exclusive edition of a sauce pitcher based on an original 1975 piece by JB Blunk. This pitcher was chosen by Mariah Nielson, JB Blunk’s daughter, as a piece representative of her father’s work. It illustrates JB Blunk’s relationship with craftsmanship and his total dedication to creating everyday objects that he designed for his own use.

This limited-edition reinterpretation (150 pieces), handcrafted by Strasbourg-based ceramicist Sophie Irwin, is available exclusively at the Martell Foundation in Cognac, as well as at the Blunk shop in Paris and on www.wedonotworkalone.fr and www.jbblunk.com.

JB BLUNK CATALOG

The catalog for the retrospective dedicated to American sculptor JB Blunk showcases a significant portion of the artist’s work through a selection of more than 150 pieces (sculptures, ceramics, furniture, models, paintings, original photographs, and archival documents) from the JB Blunk Estate.
