Roundtable Discussion – European Heritage and Matrimony Days
Saturday, September 19 – 6:00 p.m.
As part of the European Heritage and Matrimony Days, the roundtable discussion “Living Alliances: Building an Ecological Imaginary” will explore how artists use storytelling to reinvent the ways we perceive the world. Featuring photographer Chloé Azzopardi and comic book author Zoé Sauvage.

Moderator: Émilie Villez, curator of the exhibition “The Monkey and the Clay”.

Local bookshop “Le Texte Libre” will offer for sale a selection of books chosen by the exhibition’s curator.

Silvana Mc Nulty – Tying, Weaving, Embroidering, and Binding!
Wednesday, September 23, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Ages 8 and up
This creative workshop, combining embroidery, braiding, and needlework, invites participants to develop new combinations that blend natural and artificial materials, in the spirit of artist Silvana Mc Nulty’s work. Using organic elements and everyday objects as their building blocks, participants will bring to life fantastic new hybrid pieces.

Anja Madsen Pernot – The Garden of Chimeras
Wednesday, October 21, 2:00–5:00 p.m.
Ages 8 and up
Using plain and colored recycled paper, artist Anja Madsen Pernot invites participants to create floral chimeras: extraordinary paper flowers that are both poetic and imaginative, echoing Agnieszka Polska’s film featured in *Le Singe et l’Argile*.

Antoine Behaghel – The Microscopists’ Workshop
Wednesday, December 16, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Ages 8 and up
Conceived by designer Antoine Behaghel as a complement to the Planctonarium, this workshop offers an immersion into the invisible world of phytoplankton. Participants are invited to explore the shapes and colors of these marine microorganisms, drawing inspiration from the optical effects observed under a microscope: changes in scale, image reflections, and plays of light with fluorescent accents.

Plus! On the weekend of November 21 and 22, the Foundation will host the Kids Zone as part of the Cognac European Literature Festival, which is dedicated to Poland this year. On the program: readings, creative workshops, book signings…


Workshops

FABLAB
Cognhackers Mickaël Fuzeau and Clément Genty invite you to experiment at the Foundation’s Pluriel workshop in their digital fabrication lab (Fablab), dedicated to creativity and learning by doing. Come learn how to program, model, and create a part or other useful objects in this true “Repair Café.”

BIKE REPAIR WORKSHOP
The Vélo d’Vie association, which promotes everyday bike use, invites you to participate in free workshops to learn how to diagnose, maintain, and repair your bike, in order to extend its lifespan and contribute to more sustainable mobility.
You only pay for replacement parts.

Glass Workshop – Baptism of fire

Guided by a master glass artisan, this experience will introduce you to the glass workshop and its tools, and teach you basic glassworking techniques so you can create your first pieces using both blown and solid glass.

Glass Workshop – Glass Immersion

One Saturday per month from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

A one-day introductory workshop led by glass artisans. Participants will explore various glassworking techniques, such as glassblowing, sculpting, and working with color, and will create three pieces per person (two glasses and one custom piece).

Introduction to woodworking – Wood Workshop – Adults

These introductory sessions on woodworking techniques, designed by cabinetmaker Mathias Heinisch, allow participants to become familiar with traditional carpentry tools (plane, wood chisel, saw, drawknife, scraper), with the goal of learning how to build a shelf using traditional cabinetmaking techniques.

One Saturday per month, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Each child aged 8 and up, guided by cabinetmaker Mathias Heinisch, will create a bird feeder out of maple wood and learn how to use traditional tools (hand saw, plane, scraper, etc.)

Yoga
Ages 10 and up.
Every Tuesday, 6:30–8:00 p.m. (1.5 hours)
Weekly yoga sessions, led by Parmeet Kaur Tesson, are held at the Foundation. Weather permitting, yoga sessions may take place outdoors on the terrace. Yoga mats and accessories are provided.
