Marine Grosset, co-ambassador of La Bulle (Charente) and Yannick Lung, economist and professor of economics at the University of Bordeaux will present La Bulle, the Charentaise Complementary Local Currency created in 2019.

For more than ten years, these new means of payment complementary to the Euro – currently 80 in circulation in France – have drawn a new economic map of cities, based on the local development of businesses and the promotion of short circuits, thus encouraging the transition ecological.

This discussion will aim to measure the impact of these complementary local currencies in the revitalization of territories, given the richness of the exchanges arre preserved at the level of a given territory, exclusively irrigating the local economy. The speakers will discuss how these new tools work.
