mountaincutters & Jean-Charles Miot

15.11.2020 - 15.12.2020

The duo of artists mountaincutters create in situ sculptures. They draw their poetic inspiration from the earth, receptacle of historical and geological memories.
Within Fondation Martell, they developed a dialogue between their artistic practise and that of the glasslowerJean-Charles Miot to carry out their creative project.

mountaincutters is a duo of artists, that graduated from the École Supérieure d’Art et de Design de Marseille Méditerranée, in Marseille and is based in Brussels. It is a hybrid identity, focusing on site-specific art projects and sculptures that radically contaminate the space of the sites where he/she exhibits.
