Designer Matteo Penza has joined the Foundation to conduct research on food in relation to the ecosystem, using it as a narrative vector to tell the story of the region. His approach is characterized by embracing situations, encounters, luck, and serendipity. In Cognac, he delves into various elements to weave his narrative: mushrooms, wines, yeasts, angels, archival documents, economic theories, barrels, bottles, rap legends, red herrings, and more. These diverse threads serve as starting points for constructing his fiction “T0RUL4G4TE,” which will take tangible forms such as iconography, edible objects, and publications.
